As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on July 28, part of a dilapidated five-story building on Lyakhov Street collapsed in Astrakhan. Initially, three people were reported injured, but later the authorities reported that there were no injuries, the only person hospitalized was taken to the hospital due to stress. The governor of the Astrakhan Region, Igor Babushkin, announced the decision not to restore the building on Lyakhov Street, where the entrance collapsed. According to him, some residents received compensation for their apartments, while the rest will be relocated to temporary housing and will also receive compensation.
Earlier, a "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reported that house No. 6 on Lyakhova Street in Astrakhan is in a state of emergency. The house was declared an emergency by the order of the Astrakhan administration on May 25, 2020. Initially, the resettlement date was set for August 1, 2022, then it was moved to December 1, 2024.
