"From 20:40 Moscow time on July 23 to 01:40 Moscow time on July 24, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 39 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles: 21 over the Black Sea, 11 over the Sea of Azov, and 7 over the Krasnodar Territory," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

Amid the drone attack, Sochi Airport suspended operations at 23:08 Moscow time on July 23. The restrictions were in effect for about four hours. At 3:05 a.m., the flight restrictions were lifted, Rosaviatsiya representative Artem Korenyako reported on his Telegram channel.

In addition, due to the restrictions on the Crimean Bridge, drivers of 650 cars were waiting to pass through the inspection point on Taman by 3 a.m. on July 24, the information center covering the situation on the automobile approaches to the bridge reported.
