Volgograd residents reproach Governor for absence of dialogue with population
The efficiency of ruling has dropped in the Volgograd Region, said the residents of Volgograd, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot". According to their story, the Governor failed to establish a dialogue with the inhabitants of the region.
The "survival rating of governors", released on December 12 by the Fund "Petersburg Politics" and the Holding "Minchenko Consulting", awarded Andrei Bocharov, the Governor of the Volgograd Region, with three points out of five.
The evaluation of Bocharov's work "is overstated," said Dmitri Fetisov, the Director of the NPR Group Consulting Agency.
"There are problems with preparation for the Football World Cup-2018: with construction of hotels, the infrastructure and roads. The region sees constant conflicts in the social sphere. First, they adopted the Social Code; then, there were problems with shuttle-taxi drivers; now, we have a conflict with catering in kindergartens," he explained.
Alexander Saigin, the Deputy Director of the Institute of Regional Studies of the Southern Federal District (SFD), has noted that after the elections in the region, "there is a confrontation of the ruling party with the Governor."
The Bocharov's team "is very weak," said Edgar Petrosyan, a member of the regional branch of the All-Russian Popular Front.
