Head of KBR indignant at boxers' workout conditions in Nalchik

After visiting two boxing gyms in Nalchik, where athletes had their training sessions in extreme unsanitary conditions in unfit premises were training, Yuri Kokov, the head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), has ordered to conduct a comprehensive inspection of children's sports institutions, said to the press service of the head of the republic.

Besides, Mr Kokov suggested the Republic's Prime Minister Alij Musukov to consider a disciplinary punishment of the bosses of the KBR's Ministry of Sports.

Yuri Kokov has also set the task to provide, before December 25, comfortable gyms for athletes' workouts, the website of the head of the KBR has reported.

In his opinion, a number of sports and fitness centres, including some newly opened ones, are not properly operated for various reasons.

Let us remind you that earlier the athletes and coaches, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", said about the shortage of gyms in the republics of Northern Caucasus.
