Chechen Prosecutor demands blocking 39 websites telling about suicides

The court has granted the claims of the Prosecutor's Office (PO) of Chechnya demanding to block 39 Internet websites, dedicated to the ways of committing suicide and calls for committing it.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source from the Chechen PO that in the course of monitoring the Internet his colleagues revealed resources telling about methods of committing suicide.

"Given these facts, last week we sent respective statements of claim to courts, which have been satisfied in full. The information posted on 39 websites was considered malicious and life- and health-threatening for users, especially for children and adolescents," said the source.
