Ingushetia: policeman suspected of robbery

Nazran investigators suspect a policeman of robbing a man. The court has ruled to place the suspect into custody.

According to investigators, in the afternoon on October 13, near the Universal Roofed Marketplace, the policeman attacked a local resident, and under the threat of his Makarov pistol took away 8000 roubles, which he than used at his sole discretion.

On the same day, the suspect was detained; and then the court upheld the investigators' petition and placed him behind bars. This was reported on October 14 by the website of the Investigating Department (ID) for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

A criminal case on robbery, committed with a firearm, has been initiated against the policeman (Part 2, Article 162 of the Russian Criminal Code), says the message.
