Yunus-Bek Evkurov gives up a mandate of State Duma MP
Today, at a meeting of the political council of the regional branch of the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party, Yunus-Bek Evkurov has announced his decision to stay at the position of the leader of Ingushetia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 18, on the single day of voting, Ingushetia held voting at the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation of the seventh convocation and to the National Assembly of Ingushetia. According to Musa Evloev, the chairman of the Election Commission of the Republic of Ingushetia, no violations have been registered at the elections.
According to the Central Elections Commission (CEC), in Ingushetia, the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party gained 72.4% of votes, the second place went to the "Spravedlivaya Rossiya" (Fair Russia) Party with 9.5%, and the third place to the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) with 5.65%. Yunus-Bek Evkurov led the republican list of candidates from the "Edinaya Rossiya" Party.

Let us remind you that on September 8, 2013, deputies of the National Assembly for the Republic of Ingushetia elected Yunus-Bek Evkurov the leader of Ingushetia by majority of votes.
