Azerbaijani athletes win two silver medals at Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro

Swimmer Dmitri Saley, a member of the Azerbaijani national team, won silver medal in the 100-meter breaststroke event at the 15^th Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Athlete Elena Chebanu won her third medal, this time in the women's long jump.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that athlete Elena Chebanu, a member of the Azerbaijani national team, won the silver medal in the women's 100 meters and the bronze medal in the women's 200 meters.

Dmitri Saley covered a distance of 100-meter breaststroke in 1.08.80 seconds and won the silver medal, reports today the "azerisport.com".

Elena Chebanu showed the result of 5.56 meters in the women's long jump and also won the silver medal of the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, the "APA" reports.

As on September 14, athletes of the Azerbaijani national team won eight medals at the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
