David Sanasaryan released on bail
David Sanasaryan, a member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan from the block "Hello, Yerevan!", accused of organizing mass riots, has been released from custody on bail of 1.5 million drams, said his advocate.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that for two weeks, on July 17-31, an armed group of supporters of the "Constituent Parliament" held captured a building of the post-and-patrol service (PPS) in Yerevan. On July 29, a march in support of the capturers was dispersed by policemen, after which 73 people applied for medical aid. On August 1, David Sanasaryan was charged with organizing mass riots.
David Sanasaryan has been released on bail of 1.5 million drams (about 3000 US dollars), Robert Revazyan, an advocate, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Let us remind you that on August 3 the block "Hello, Yerevan!" called on the Council of Elders to release its members David Sanasaryan and Armen Martirosyan.
