Dagestan: relatives identify Kazimagomedov

Power agents suspect Kamaldin Kazimagomedov, the alleged leader of the "southern" grouping of militants, killed in July 29, of involvement in the murder of the accountant of a police station.

The "Caucasian Knot" has informed that on July 29 the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reported on the death of Kamaldin Kazimagomedov. According to the NAC, Kazimagomedov was killed "between the settlements of Yukhari-Stal and Kurkent of the Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan."

"To identify the slain alleged member of an illegal armed formation (IAF), no DNA examination was required. Kazimagomedov's body was recognized by his invited relatives," said a law enforcement source.

Let us remind you that Kazimagomedov has been already announced murdered during a special operation on May 26 this year. Later, however, this information was not confirmed.

According to investigators, Kazimagomedov was wanted on suspicion of committing attacks on policemen. In particular, as explained by a law enforcement source, he was wanted on suspicion of involvement in the murder of the accountant of the Suleiman-Stalsky ROVD (District Interior Division), committed in May this year.
