In Volgograd, demolition of house in Kirov District suspended
The Volgograd authorities have filed a request to the Court Marshal Service to suspend the demolition of the residential building in No. 10 in Klubny Lane.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the forced demolition of the apartment building has been started despite the fact that it is the only shelter for many of its tenants. Today, the tenants of the house have visited the city administration in the hope to change the situation.
Five tenants of the house have held talks with Vladimir Sidorenko, the deputy head of the city administration of Volgograd. This was reported by Irina Krivina, one of the tenants of the house.
"We were given a 10-day delay in the demolition of the house. The court in our case is scheduled for July 15. The developer filed a claim to the court. At the city administration, we are told that they act in favour of the interests of the people. We hope that the court will give the developer enough time to ensure the order of the documents," Irina Krivina has said.
The authorities have sent to the Court Marshal Service a request for suspension of execution of the court proceedings in the case of demolition of the residential building recognized as illegally constructed and subjected to demolition, reports the website of Volgograd City Mayor's Office.
