Residents of Sochi settlements receive compensations for flood damage
46 families from the settlements of Maryino and Tatianovka and aul (village) of Tkhagapsh, whose houses were recognized as the most affected by the recent flooding in Sochi, have received payments from the Emergency Fund of the Krasnodar Territory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that special commissions, compiled of members of territorial self-governments (known as TOSs), employees of the BTI (Bureau of Technical Inventory), elders, builders, administration, and network (utility) companies, inspected the flood-affected houses. As a result, it was decided to pay compensations to 26 families in Tkhagapsh, 10 families in Tatianovka and 10 families in Maryino.
On June 4, in Sochi, torrential rains caused mudslides, which blocked the road to the settlements of the Lazarevskoe District – Alekseevka, Tatianovka, Maryino, and the aul of Tkhagapsh. On June 5, the emergency regime was introduced in Tatianovka, Maryino and Tkhagapsh.
According to the press service of the administration of Sochi, the city has completed the payment of compensations to the residents of Maryino, Tatianovka and Tkhagapsh. "The payment of monetary compensations to victims of the disaster-residents of the mountain Sochi settlements is over," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the press service as reporting.
In total, about 2.6 million roubles were allocated on the compensational payments.
