Law enforcers report on involvement of militants blocked at Kasumkent in explosion at Djemikent checkpoint

This morning, law enforcers entered a shootout with unidentified persons who opened fire on them from a dugout in the vicinity of the village of Kasumkent.
The law enforcers have blocked five militants in one of the houses, the "Novoe Delo" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.
According to the source, the blocked suspected militants were involved in the explosion at the Djemikent checkpoint, the murder of a district police inspector and a cashier in the village of Ashaga-Stal, the extortion of money, and the arson of the Museum of Suleiman-Stalsky and houses belonging to policemen.
According to the preliminary information, there are three of militants, and they are "heavily armed and render resistance to law enforcers," the "Interfax-South" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.
