Tamerlan Eskerkhanov again refuses to sign protocol of familiarization with criminal case
Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, a defendant in the case of the assassination of Boris Nemtsov, a suspected accomplice of the killer, has refused to sign the protocol of familiarization with the materials of the criminal case.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 14, Shamsudin Tsakaev, an advocate of Zaur Dadaev, stated that all the defendants and their advocates had examined the case materials and signed the appropriate protocol. Tamerlan Eskerkhanov has refused to sign the protocol of familiarization with the material of the criminal case, since he was not provided with an interpreter from Chechen language.
Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, who read all 60 volumes of the criminal case, again stated that he had not understood of what exactly he was accused. He has appealed to the investigators with a request to provide him with an interpreter from Russian to Chechen.
According to the edition, the investigator has dismissed the defendant's request. The investigator has referred to the fact that being the former policeman, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov should understand Russian language perfectly.
