"Rosmorrechflot" treats election of Gormakh as Director General of Makhachkala Port as legitimate
Andrei Gormakh had presented the most optimized and economically viable programme of the port development, said the spokesman of the "Rosmorrechflot" (Russian Federal Agency for Sea and River Transports).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 30 the Gudermes City Court suspended the decision of the "Rosmorrechflot" on the contest for the post of Director General of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise (FSUE) "Makhachkala Commercial Seaport" (MCS).
The court then prohibited the "Rosmorrechflot" to conclude an employment contract with Andrei Gormakh. The contest was carried out with violations of the law, the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has stated.
"The 'Rosmorrechflot' finds the contest legitimate; and the election of Gormakh to the post of Director General of the MCS responding the interests of the enterprise, the branch and the state... The current situation is of great concern of the 'Rosmorrechflot' as the authorized representative of the interests of the Russian Federation," said the spokesman.
It should be noted here that, according to the Dagestani journalists, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot", the situation around the MCS has to do with the rivalry of two economic groupings – of Suleiman Kerimov and Ziyavudin Magomedov, the chairman of the board of directors of the "Summa" Group.
