Policemen search "Qanun" Publishers in Baku

Tonight, the police began searching the private publishing house "Qanun" (Law) in Baku after they received information about an allegedly planted bomb. The owner of the house fears that the search is a part of inquiry against the establishment.

Shahbaz Khuduoglu, the owner and director, said that his publishing house was visited, one by one, by some 20 employees of the Baku City Chief Police Office.

"They said that the 102 service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) had received information about a bomb allegedly planted into the publishing house. Since it happened on a Saturday night, there was no one at work, but for a security. However, he was not let out of the premises and is there with the policemen. No special equipment for searching and neutralizing explosives was seen on the policemen, and all this is alarming," Mr Khuduoglu told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
