Dagestani Vice-Premier promises to inform Ramazan Abdulatipov about Suleimanov and Musaev
Today, relatives of Magomed Suleimanov and Omar Musaev, who had disappeared in Dagestan, had a meeting with Ramazan Djafarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan. He asked them to stop the rally and write an application to the head of the republic Ramazan Abdulatipov, and promised to personally report on the situation to the latter.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Magomed Suleimanov went missing in Makhachkala on June 3; and Omar Musaev – on June 9 in Khasavyurt. Today, their relatives came to a spontaneous rally in central Makhachkala demanding from law enforcement bodies to provide information about the missing persons.
The police tried to disperse the rally, but the crowd would not obey, saying that they would stay there until they get information about the whereabouts of their relatives.
Raisat, the mother of Magomed Suleimanov, and Saikha, the wife of Omar Musaev, had a meeting with Ramazan Djafarov, the Dagestan Vice-Premier, who asked them "not to make a fuss" and promised to clear out the situation, Raisat Suleimanova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
"Djafarov asked us to write an application to the head of the republic, and said that on June 14 he would report the case to Abdulatipov and give him our application. He said nothing else, but promised to clear out the matter. We're not going to wait until they decide something. We'll go on rallying and writing everywhere until they find and release the kidnapped guys. If necessary, we'll go to Moscow," the woman said.
