Two residents of pre-border Georgian village detained by border guards

Father and son Zautashvili were detained when they were grazing cattle in the village of Bershueti of the Gori District in Georgia. The municipal administration insists that the men did not cross the border.

Today, the detention of Roin and Georgy Zautashvili has been reported by David Tsertsvadze, an agent of the head of the Gori municipal administration. According to him, at the time of their detention, the villagers were grazing cattle on an agricultural pasture.

According to the municipal administration, Roin and Georgy Zautashvili were detained on the territory controlled by the Georgian side, the "InterpressNews" reports with reference to David Tsertsvadze.

Till present, no comments from officials of the South-Ossetian side on the detention are available.
