After detention, owner of "Ummah" store brought to Kaspiysk

Akhmad Shikhmagomedov, the owner of the Muslim "Ummah" store, who disappeared in Makhachkala, has been brought to the SIZO (pre-trial prison) in Kaspiysk, said his relatives and a police source. So far, there is no official confirmation of this information.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from June 2 relatives could not establish the whereabouts of Akhmad Shikhmagomedov. His wife told the police about his possible kidnapping.

"Our friends went to check the information that Akhmad was kept at the SIZO of Kaspiysk; and it turned out that he really was there. They had planted weapons on him – two grenades and cartridges," said a Shikhmagomedov's relative.

According to his story, the circumstances of his detention are still unknown.

A source in the GOVD (City Interior Division) of Kaspiysk said that Shikhmagomedov's detention was carried out by policemen from one of the ROVDs (District Interior Divisions) of Makhachkala.
