Five unexploded missiles found in Karabakh conflict zone

According to the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), its specialists found a part of a "Grad" missile engine, two artillery missiles of 122 mm calibre, and two missiles of 152 mm calibre.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 2, the situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone was escalated, and on April 5, the parties to the conflict declared a truce. The ANAMA has launched the process of mine clearance.

On May 30, the area of 38,016 square meters was cleared of mines, the "AZE.az" reports.

According to the ANAMA, a part of the "Grad" missile was defused in the village of Djamilli, the "Trend" reports. Two unexploded artillery missiles were found in the village of Shukurbeili.

Let us remind you that on May 10, in the village of Askipara, specialists of the ANAMA discovered an unexploded phosphorus missile, which chemical composition was prohibited by the international conventions. Armenian officials have rejected the accusations of the use of prohibited missiles.
