Reuters: Nadezhda Savchenko takes plane from Rostov-on-Don to Ukraine

Nadezhda Savchenko, a Ukrainian aviator, sentenced in Russia to imprisonment, has left the airport of Rostov-on-Don on the plane. She flew to Ukraine, the Reuters reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 22, the Ukrainian aviatress Nadezhda Savchenko was sentenced to 22 years in colony on charges of involvement in the deaths in Donbas of two Russian journalists and illegal crossing the Russian border. Nadezhda refused to plead guilty.

Earlier, it has been reported that the same plane brought to Russia Alexander Alexandrov and Evgeny Erofeev, Russian citizens sentenced in Ukraine for involvement in the hostilities in Donbas, the Reuters reports with reference to a source close to the situation.

Today, Evgeny Erofeev and Alexander Alexandrov have been pardoned by the decree issued by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, the "Meduza" reports.

On March 22, Ukrainian aviator Nadezhda Savchenko was sentenced to 22 years of imprisonment on the charge of involvement in the killings of Russian journalists in Donbas and illegal crossing of the border. Nadezhda Savchenko pleaded not guilty.
