"Rosbalt": Boris Nemtsov's killers three times contacted each other via phones at moment of crime

Shortly before the assassination of Boris Nemtsov in Moscow, his killers three times contacted each other via mobile phones, the "Rosbalt" reports with reference to a source familiar with the situation. According to the source, the investigators revealed that a week before the assassination, the criminals changed their SIM cards and mobile phones.

Boris Nemtsov was shot dead on February 27, 2015, in Moscow. Within his murder case, according to official data, five natives from Chechnya and Ingushetia were arrested; they have already seen their final charge. The figurants in the case are also two officers of the Chechen battalion "Sever" (North): Ruslan Mukhudinov, who is considered to be the customer of the murder and already announced wanted; and Ruslan Geremeev.

According to the investigators, until February 14, 2015, the criminals who were watching Boris Nemtsov and preparing the murder, used two SIM cards inserted into the new mobile phones, which were registered on assumed names, the "Rosbalt" reports today.

In accordance with the case materials, the criminals suddenly stopped watching the politician and did not resume their watch until February 21, 2015. Policemen and investigators revealed that on that day, the criminals started using other mobile phones and SIM cards, the "Rosbalt" reports with reference to its source.

According to the source, on the day of the Boris Nemtsov's assassination, two connections between the above mobile phones were registered in the vicinity of Red Square at the moment when Boris Nemtsov met Anna Duritskaya in GUM. And the owners of the SIM cards made the third call already in the area of the Greater Moscow River Bridge, where Boris Nemtsov was killed by several shots at close range.
