"Solidarity" announces creation of branches in regions of Northern Caucasus
The Union of Entrepreneurs of Southern Russia "Solidarity" has announced a start of preparation for the opening of its branches in the regions of Northern Caucasus. "We need to self-organize and unite," believes the Union.
According to leaders of the "Solidarity", which is an inter-regional trade union of independent entrepreneurs of Southern Russia, the organization was founded on December 25, 2015, at the founding congress in the city of Lermontovo.
Entrepreneurs across the country are not protected, said Alexei Kursish, the Chairman of the "Solidarity". He noted that only trade unions have the right to hold preventive strikes, where peaceful economic demands may be put forward.
Many entrepreneurs complain of unjustified inspections conducted not only by state authorities, but also by public structures, said Arthur Cairov, the head of the human rights organization "Our Right" (North Ossetia).
The business community of Northern Caucasus need to self-organize and unite, said Zariyat Akbaeva, the head of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) branch of the interregional public organization of the North-Caucasians Federal District (NCFD) "Anticorruption Centre". She added that KChR entrepreneurs face difficulties in getting any state support.
