Whereabouts of soldier from Chechnya disappeared in Adygea still unknown

Till present, Ariskhan Movsarov, a soldier from Chechnya, who in April disappeared under unclear circumstances from the territory of a military unit in Maikop, has not been found. The commanders of the military unit are not interested in revealing the causes of his disappearance, the soldier's relatives believe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in late April, relatives of Ariskhan Movsarov, who was enlisted in the brigade in Maikop, could not locate him for about half of a month. According to the relatives, Ariskhan Movsarov had no conflicts with his colleagues, and the commanders of the military unit do not provide his family members with any information about the reasons for his absence from the military unit.

"It has been almost a month since Ariskhan disappeared. However, we have no information about his further fate. Officials of the administration of the military unit and his direct commanders have something to hide, and they are not interested in searching for him. His colleagues change their testimonies," claim the relatives of Ariskhan Movsarov.

"It seems to me that the Chechen leaders should intervene in the situation with the disappearance in Maikop of a soldier from our republic. The Chechen leaders have made our children drafted into the army, and therefore, they are responsible for each recruited young man. For example, I do not want my son or my nephew to go to serve in the army and to disappear there," believes Zarema, a staff member of one of the Chechen agencies.
