Court marshals to deport fiancé of Mozdok resident from Russia to US

According to a court decision, Aubrey Michelle Allen, a citizen of the United States, who arrived in North Ossetia to visit her fiancé, is to be deported from Russia for violation of the order of staying in the country.

Aubrey Michelle Allen got acquainted with a resident of the Mozdok District of North Ossetia through the Internet, and two years later, the man asked her to marry him. On January 31, 2016, the woman arrived to North Ossetia via Moscow.

However, after a while, the stay of the US citizen in the Mozdok District was found to be illegal, since the Mozdok District belongs to the territories with limited entry for foreign citizens, the "Kommersant" reports today.

The court pronounced the resolution to deport Aubrey Michelle Allen from Russia for violation of the order of stay on the territory of the country. On April 21, the court decision entered into force. The deportation procedure is scheduled for May 12, when the US citizen will be sent home from the airport of Mineralnye Vody. The entry into Russia will be banned for her for five years, the "Kommersant" reports with reference to the Court marshal Service for North Ossetia.

During the consideration of her case in court, Aubrey Michelle Allen herself stated that she entered Russia with a tourist visa and that while applying for a visa, she indicated her intention to visit Moscow, Vladikavkaz, and Mozdok. According to the woman, she did not receive any warning from the visa application centre about restrictions on entry to the Mozdok District. The woman asked the court to give her a chance to stay in the republic, the "Sputnik South Ossetia" reports.
