Case on Ingush woman’s involvement in armed underground sent to court

In the case against a woman from Ingushetia, accused of involvement in an illegal armed formation (IAF), acquisition of an improvised explosive device (IED) and use of violence against a public official, the indictment has been approved. This was reported by the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

According to investigators, in the period from December 2014 till October 31, 2015, a 31-year-old defendant acquired an IED and transported it inside a car.

"On October 31, 2015, the defendant was driving a car. Being in Tangiev Street in the city of Nazran, she saw that the traffic had been limited and tried to hit policemen with her car," reports the ICRF's Investigating Department for Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 31, during the special operation carried out at a marketplace in Nazran, two persons were killed. They are identified as Beslan Makhauri, a leader of Ingush militants, and Ilyas Vedzizhev, the leader of the "Nazran" grouping.
