Two houses damaged after shelling of Martakert

Last night Martakert was shelled from the Azerbaijani side, said the head of the city. According to his version, the shells damaged the power line and two houses.

During the shelling, the population was hiding in shelters, the head of the city has added. According to his story, there were no victims among civilians; and the damaged power line has been restored, the "NEWS.am" reports.

The fact that the Azerbaijani militaries aim at peaceful dwelling settlements and deliver fire at cities was also stated by Artsrun Ovannisyan, the press secretary of the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD). He noted that this information should be sent to various international structures.

"Azerbaijan aims at peaceful settlements, inhabited by civilians. In fact, they shell cities, and delivered a bow on Martakert. This issue should be raised at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and other international organizations," said Artsrun Ovannisyan, as quoted by the "Armenpress".

The MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh has already unformed the ICRC about the recent shelling of Martakert by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
