Amur Khakulov placed to prison hospital in Kirov Region
Amur Khakulov, sentenced in the case on the attack on Nalchik, has been transported to the place in the Kirov Region, where he is to serve his sentence. Because of the severe health state, he has been immediately placed to the "Medical Detention Facility No. 12" in the city of Kirovo-Chepetsk. This was reported by Fatima Sonova, the wife of the prisoner.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 15, the prisoners were transported to Kazan. Relatives of Amur Khakulov fear for his life because of his serious illness. Amur Khakulov is sentenced to 19 years of imprisonment, and he is still to serve remaining 8.5 years of imprisonment. His defence insisted that Amur Khakulov could not commit the murder of a worker, of which he was accused.
According to Fatima Sonova, the health state of her husband becomes even more sever because by the fact that during his transportation, he did not receive the necessary drugs prescribed by doctors in Nalchik.
Fatima Sonova believes that the conclusion issued by doctors of the Republican Clinical Hospital was not included in her husband's clinical chart to prevent his hospitalization at an intermediate stage in case of deterioration of his health state.
According to the doctors' conclusion, Amur Khakulov urgently needs haemodialysis; however, the court has refused to release him for medical treatment. On February 12, a complaint was filed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) about the Amur Khakulov's case.
