Parties to Karabakh conflict exchange accusations of shelling

During the last night, the Armenian side has violated the ceasefire regime 120 times. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD). The Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reported on 70 attacks registered from the Azerbaijani side. The Armenian MoD reported on 16 attacks.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 5, after a four-day escalation of the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone, a truce was announced. However, even after that, the parties still regularly accuse each other of violating the ceasefire.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, during the past day, it registered 120 attacks on the Azerbaijani positions in various sectors of the front line.

The Nagorno-Karabakh MoD reports on 70 cases of violation of the ceasefire regime during the last night.

In its turn, the Armenian MoD has reported on 16 cases of shelling from the Azerbaijani side in the north-eastern part of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani soldiers used firearms of various calibres and sniper rifles, reports the website of the Armenian MoD.
