Users of social networks express their fears for Ramazan Djalaldinov's life
When commenting on materials of the Chechen official media with refutation of the Ramazan Djalaldinov's statements, Internet users have expressed their fears that the life of Ramazan Djalaldinov may be endangered because of his video message addressed to the Russian President and describing corruption in the village of Kenkhi.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Ramazan Djalaldinov's video message addressed to Vladimir Putin was published on YouTube on April 14. In his video message, Ramazan Djalaldinov has said that residents of the Avar village of Kenkhi cannot get compensation for their houses destroyed after the war and floods unless they agree to get only 1/3 of the amount due to them. Moreover, according to Ramazan Djalaldinov, the majority of good teachers left the village because of deductions from their salaries.
On April 16, the residents of the village of Kenkhi held a gathering, at which they publicly condemned Ramazan Djalaldinov and called his statements a slander.
The website of the state agency "Grozny-Inform" has published the material prepared by Ibragim Estamirov, which called the video message of Ramazan Djalaldinov a "clumsy attempt of PR activity." The article states that Ramazan Djalaldinov himself does not live in the village of Kenkhi and that he has three earlier criminal records, including one on the charge of aiding and abetting militants.
On April 18, another material about the Ramazan Djalaldinov's video message was released on the website of the Chechen State TV and Radio Company (ChSTRC) "Grozny". It reports that the residents of the village of Kenkhi denied the Ramazan Djalaldinov's statements at the Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry for Internal Affairs (MIA).
