Makhachkala: mosque administration demands to punish policemen for their drunken intrusion

Today, the administration of the Salafi mosque located in Hungarian Fighters Street has filed complaints with the demand to bring to responsibility the policemen for their invasion into the Salafi mosque and insulting its believers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that according to staff members of the mosque, on April 10, a group of policemen in a state of alcoholic intoxication entered the mosque. The policemen insulted the believers of the mosque, threatened them, and demanded to follow them to the police station, state the believers.

In its complaints, the mosque administration addresses the police on behalf of the Muslim community, as well as on behalf of the believers affected by the incident. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by an official of the mosque who preferred to remain anonymous.

The mosque administration has filed complaints to the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Prosecutor of Dagestan, notes Akhmed Chililov, a member of the Public Chamber of Dagestan, a founder of the newspaper "Novoye Delo".
