Administration of Makhachkala mosque complains about unlawful police actions
Policemen entered the mosque in a state of alcoholic intoxication and behaved inappropriately. This was reported by staff member of the mosque located in Hungarian Fighters Street in Makhachkala. The mosque administration intends to file a complaint about the behaviour of the policemen.
"Being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, the policemen entered the mosque, and, without taking off their dirty shoes, they were walking on the carpets. Being in a drunken stupor, they were using bad language and insulting believers, who were engaged in the service. The policemen demanded from all believers in the mosque to immediately follow them," reported staff members of the mosque.
They called the actions of the policemen "an invasion of the believers' rights and an insult to their religious feelings."
The mosque administration intends to apply to the supervisory and investigating authorities to prosecute the policemen involved in those events, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the spokesman of the mosque.
