Girl from Nalchik is among top 10 in online voting contest "Miss Russia"

By the results of the online voting of the contest "Miss Russia", Nazima Goova from Nalchik is among the top ten contenders for participation in the next round. According to organizers of the beauty contests in Kabardino-Balkaria, some local residents criticize their countrywoman for the participation in the All-Russian contest. A poll conducted in the streets of Nalchik showed that girls see nothing wrong in beauty contests.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that participants from Dagestan, North Ossetia and Kabardino-Balkaria got into the final round of the contest "Miss Russia-2016". Girls from Northern Caucasus took part in the contest for the first time, organizers said.

The 18-year-old Nasima Goova is a student of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Russian State Social University (RSSU), said Rozana Tlichezheva, Director General of the Centre for Creativity and Aesthetics. In 2014, as she said, Goova became the winner of "Miss Kabardino-Balkaria".

Ms Tlichezheva notes that, apart from external appearance, Nazima Goova has other talents. "She is studying foreign languages – English and Chinese; she is good at drawing, dancing, singing, playing the piano; and she co-starred in the comedy film," she said.

According to Rozana Tlichezheva, under the terms of "Miss Russia", the performance in bathing suit is mandatory. Nazima Goova is not morally ready yet to appear dressed in it; however, because the agreement has been concluded, she will have to perform it.

The girl is also under pressure of plenty of negative statements addressed to her in social networks, noted Tlichezheva.
