Residents of Martakert reported incessant shelling

Martakert, a district capital of the NKR, is under fire of "Grad" missile installations; there are victims, said the residents of the district centre.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today residents of the NKR have reported about shelling by Azerbaijani militaries of the town of Hadrut and Martakert. The MoD of the NKR also reported about shelling of Martakert.

Martakert is three kilometres off the contact line.

Meanwhile, the information about shelling Hadrut is not confirmed. The shelling was earlier reported by one of local women. Other local assert that "the town is not shelled, but they hear shots from the border."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on April 2, the situation in the Karabakh conflict zone sharply escalated.

The NKR said that the Azerbaijani party had at least 200 casualties; and Yerevan reported that the losses from the Armenian party make 18 killed people. The parties also recognized civilian casualties.
