Workers of "Nairit" resume their protests
In Yerevan, about 60 workers of the factory "Nairit" took part in the action of protest with a demand to resume the activities of the rubber factory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 12, Levon Eolyan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, signed an order to establish a working group to study the situation of the factory "Nairit". On March 17, workers demanded to include them in their working group. On March 22, it was reported that workers of the factory "Nairit" had been included in the working group.
Today, the workers of the factory have held a protest action in front of the building of the Armenian government. According to organizers, the protest action was attended by about 60 people.
Despite the establishment of the working group to study the situation of the factory, the workers will not stop the protest actions, demanding to resume the activities of the factory, says Karine Shakhverdyan, a participant of the protest action. According to her, the factory workers "are sceptical about the government's statements about the possible resumption of activities of the factory."
