The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 9, a minivan of the Joint Mobile Group (JMG) with Russian and foreign journalists inside was attacked. As a result, nine persons were injured. The Sunzha Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has launched an investigation into the case under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, including article on disorderly conduct and article on deliberate destruction of other people's property.
The criminals, who attacked the minivan of the JMG in Ingushetia, robbed the victims and seized from them 1000 euros and 250 US dollars, reports a source from the law enforcement bodies.
According to the source, the attackers also stole two mobile phones, the "Interfax" reports today.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on the day of the attack on the JMG's minivan, the headquarters of rights defenders in Ingushetia was also assaulted. The incident is also being investigated by the law enforcement bodies of Ingushetia.
