Power agents check native of Dagestan for involvement in IS
Russian law enforcement bodies have reacted to the news of Turkish media that Kristina Tikhonova, a native of Dagestan, allegedly involved in the organization "Islamic State" (IS), banned in Russia, intended to commit a terror act in Istanbul.
The Turkish police are looking for Kristina Tikhonova, an 18-year-old native of Dagestan, who, according to the Turkish edition Habertürk, after arriving in Istanbul told her friends in Dagestan, that she was going to "blow herself in Turkey in order to get to the paradise."
According to the publication, the Turkish law enforcement bodies suggest that Tikhonova was involved in the IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia, says the "Free Press".
Tikhonova was not referred in the reports as a "supporter of radical Islam," said a source in the power structures of Russia.
