Relatives of Gadji Ramazanov complain about violations during search

During a search, power agents planted extremist literature into the house of Gadji Ramazanov, a resident of Makhachkala, his relatives assert.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 2 nine persons were taken to a police station in Makhachkala on suspicion of involvement in the activities of the organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir".

According to Aminat Ramazanova, her son Gadji Ramazanov was detained on March 2 among the above nine alleged members of "Hizb ut-Tahrir".

"My son's wife has told me that on March 2 armed masked men came to their house and presented themselves as employees of power structures," said Aminat Ramazanova.

"During the search of Gadji Ramazanov's house, one of the power agents went into the bedroom, where my two little grandchildren were sleeping. My daughter-in-law was not let into the room. Then, the agent went out of the room and told his colleagues that "everything is ready". They went into the room and started searching it. They drew some brochures and lists of paper out of the wardrobe," says Aminat Ramazanova.

According to her version, power agents announced that the detected brochures "are extremist literature."

"These brochures were planted there by themselves. There was never such literature in my son's house," Aminat Ramazanova keeps insisting.
