Villagers of Derbent District have no problems because of CTO

Today, residents of four villages of the Derbent District told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about the influence of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime on their everyday life. In three villages, no power agents at all were noticed; and near the village of Aglobi, they are inspecting cars, but do not enter the village.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today the CTO regime was announced within the borders of the Derbent District of Dagestan. According to the republic's operative headquarters, power agents were looking for members of the armed underground. This is the third CTO in Southern Dagestan since the start of the year.

Today, a resident of Aglobi named Kurban met power agents on the road leading to the village.

According to his story, he did not see any other law enforcers; and they did not enter the village, and added that no restrictions had been introduced in his village.

"We treat these CTOs with understanding – they should be carried out," he said.
