Authorities offer legal assistance to tenants of illegally built house in Krasnodar

The administration of the Prikubansky District of Krasnodar has offered legal assistance to the owners of the apartments in the house to be demolished.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the tenants of No. 70 in Izmail Street, according to their stories, had learned about the impending demolition of their house by accident, when they saw the information about it in the respective list on the website of the administration. The reason for the demolition was the complaint of the owner of the neighbouring land plot about trespassing. The owners of apartments, a total of 48 families, emphasize that they had known nothing about the litigation of the developer with the authorities.

"We are now working with the owners of the residential building No. 70 in Izmail Street by offering them our help in appealing against the court judgment to demolish the house, we are ready to help them to extend the appeal term, since 2.5 years have already expired since the judgement," a source from the Prikubansky District Administration told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

This information was confirmed by owners of the apartments.

"They are willing to help us to challenge the judgement; and we would hope that this aid in not in words, but in deeds," said Alexander Yarovoy, one of the tenants.

Natalya Bayanova, a lawyer of the company "Consulting Partner," to whom the tenants had addressed, believes that they have chances to overturn the judgement and legalize their house.
