"Georgian Dream" can exclude "Industry Will Save Georgia" Party from its members

At the next meeting, the ruling coalition "Georgian Dream" is to pronounce the decision whether the "Industry Will Save Georgia" Party will stay among the members of the coalition. The conflict within the coalition arose from the statements made by Georgy Topadze, the leader of the "Industry Will Save Georgia" Party, concerning the Georgian Minister of Defence.

The conflict between members of the ruling coalition began after on February 20, Georgy Topadze, a member of the "Industry Will Save Georgia" Party, accused Tina Khidasheli, Minister of Defence, and other members of the Republican Party of the actions discrediting the coalition.

Note of the "Caucasian Knot" as at 1:25 p.m. Moscow time of February 23, 2016: On February 10, Georgy Topadze accused Tina Khidasheli of the activities discrediting the ruling coalition. And on February 17, he voiced the accusations against two MPs, other members of the Republican Party, after they began to support Tina Khidasheli at the plenary session of the Parliament.

Georgy Topadze has accused MPs Levan and David Berdzenishvili of collaboration with the KGB and Tina Khidasheli, Minister of Defence, of falsification of the elections.

According to Georgy Volsky, the leader of the faction "Georgian Dream", the Georgy Topadze's statements completely contradict the policy of the coalition and the government.

Members of the Republican Party claim that at present, Georgia faces an "anti-Western campaign", which announces a number of statements, including accusations of falsification of the elections voiced against Tinatin Khidasheli, Georgian Minister of Defence.
