Hundreds of Vladikavkaz residents pay tribute to memory of North-Ossetian leader

Residents of Vladikavkaz brought flowers and candles to the House of Government, which hosted the action of memory of North-Ossetian leader Tamerlan Aguzarov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 19, it was reported that Tamerlan Aguzarov died in hospital. The day of February 21 was announced a day of mourning in the republic. The body of Tamerlan Aguzarov will be buried with military honours on Alley of Fame in Vladikavkaz.

Starting from February 19, social networks were spreading calls to hold an action of memory. It was organized by 17-year-old Khetag Salamov. According to his mother Fariza Salamova, Tamerlan Aguzarov "showed very warm attitude" towards her son. The woman works at the oncology clinic, and during recent several months, the North-Ossetian leader regularly visited it to check the progress of the construction works. And there, according to the woman, her son hoped to meet him.

Sergey Melikov, the Russian presidential envoy to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), Lev Kuznetsov, Russian Minister for Affairs of Northern Caucasus, the leaders of the regions of Northern Caucasus, and other officials will arrive to pay tribute to the memory of the leader of North Ossetia. The Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of Abkhazia also sent delegations.

All decisions on the organization of the funeral were made by the government commission in consultation with relatives of Tamerlan Aguzarov, reports the press service of the leader and the government of North Ossetia.
