Officially announced that Aguzarov died of pneumonia
Along with the official reason of the death of the head of North Ossetia Tamerlan Aguzarov, who died on February 19, mass media put forward some other versions, namely, myocardial infarction and a long-term oncology disease.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in early February Tamerlan Aguzarov was hospitalized with pneumonia. On February 19, it was announced that Aguzarov died in a Moscow clinic.
Later, Lola Baeva, the head of the press-service of the head of the republic, said that the 53-year-old Aguzarov died from acute pneumonia.
Meanwhile, the "LifeNews", citing its own source, wrote that three days before his death Aguzarov suffered a massive heart attack, causing failure of kidneys.
At the same time, some media note that the disease of the head of North Ossetia was of chronic nature.
"He was sick for a long time and struggled with his disease for many years," the TASS quotes a high-ranking source from the administration of the head of North Ossetia.
A friend of Aguzarovs' family said that the head of the republic for a long time had been treated for leukaemia, the RBC reports.
