Resident of Dagestan accused of taking part in warfare abroad
The Prosecutor's Office of the Magaramkent District of Dagestan has delivered to the court the case against Marik Nurmagamedov, a resident of the village of Magaramkent, accused of involvement in warfare as a member of an armed grouping.
According to investigators, from March to July 2015, Nurmagamedov was outside of Russia, taking part in an illegal armed formation (IAF). The country, where he went, is not specified.
"Besides, from 2006 to November 2015, he illegally kept an F-1 grenade and a fuse UZRGM, intended for triggering hand fragmentation grenades," reports the website of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Dagestan.
Nurmagamedov is accused under Part 2, Article 208 (participation in an armed formation not envisaged by the federal law), and Part 1, Article 222.1 (illegal possession of an explosive device), of the Russian Criminal Code.
