Action in support of Ildar Dadin and Alexander Belov held in Astrakhan
Today, three activists of the movement "Russians of Astrakhan" have held an action in support of Ildar Dadin, convicted for repeated violation of the rules of holding actions, and Alexander Belov (Potkin), one of the leaders of the nationalistic movement "Russians".
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 7, 2015, a court in Moscow sentenced Ildar Dadin, a former security and cash collector, to 3 years in prison. He was found guilty of repeated violation of the rules of holding public actions.
Alexander Belov (Potkin), one of the leaders of the nationalistic movement "Russians" is accused under Articles 282 (incitement of interethnic hatred), 280 (creation of an extremist community), 280.1 (public calls for extremist activities) and 174 (legalization of funds obtained by criminal means) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The participants of the today's action have stated that they support the international campaign in support of Dadin. According to Igor Stenin, the head of the movement "Russians of Astrakhan", "in Russia people are persecuted for political reasons."
The accusatory trend in such cases is "predetermined", because Russian nationalists figure in them, said Ilya, one of the protesters.
