2 Russian soldiers killed in Chechnya

2 Russian soldiers were killed in an armed clash in the south of Chechnya in the morning of June 7. Another 3 received wounds of different severity.

"2 federal soldiers were killed in a fight with a rebel group in the Vedeno district of the republic in the morning today. 3 soldiers were wounded. They are in a hospital on the military base in Khankala now. Extra military units have been transferred to the scene of the fight. They are cleaning the area and searching for the bandits," a source in the republican military commandant's office said to the Caucasian Knot correspondent.

The man refused to disclose details of the happening referring to the lack of reliable information.
