Ramzan Kadyrov's rating falls two months before expiration of his term

At the final rating of governors in 2015 compiled by the pro-Kremlin "FoRGO" Foundation, the positions of Ramzan Kadyrov declined. The decrease in the rating occurred before the end of his term as the Chechen leader.

The rating compiled by the "Foundation for Development of Civil Society" (FoRGO), is based on the four intermediate ratings, published during the past year.

The authors of the rating lowered positions of the leaders of the regions with unfavourable situation formed because of the conflict of interest and corruption, reports the "RBC" with reference to Konstantin Kostin, the leader of the "FoRGO", the former head of the Kremlin's Domestic Policy Department.

Besides, the pro-Kremlin "FoRGO" Foundation lowered the positions of the governors of the regions in which it found a violation of the principles of the competitive elections during the election campaigns.

As a result, Ramzan Kadyrov has remained in the top ten. However, he lost one point as compared with his last-year position, and at present, he shares the 6-7th places with his colleagues. According to Konstantin Kostin, the position of the Chechen was affected by the negative background information and the evaluations voiced by experts.
