In Yerevan, two activists released from police

In Yerevan, the police released two activists of the National Salvation Front "New Armenia". Administrative proceedings were instituted against them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 1, about 30 people took part in the action in front of the building of the Armenia General Prosecutor's Office in support of Gevorg Safaryan, an arrested supporter of the National Salvation Front "New Armenia". During the action, activists threw eggs to the building of the General Prosecutor's Office. In this regard, two activists Varazdat Barsegyan and Pailak Tevanyan were detained.

The activists are released, and the police have instituted against them the administrative proceedings on the fact of the damage of other people's property. This has been told today to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Gagik Egiazaryan, a member of the "New Armenia".

Gagik Egiazaryan believes that the administrative case may be re-classified to the criminal one.
