CTO regime introduced in three districts of Dagestan

In the territory of the Buynaksk, Karabudakhkent and Kumtorkalin Districts, power agents are seeking for members of illegal armed formations (IAF), said the spokesman of the operative headquarters in Dagestan.

"From 6:00 a.m. Moscow time, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime has been introduced within the administrative borders of the Buynaksk, Karabudakhkent and Kumtorkalin Districts," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the above spokesman, who added that power agents "are searching for militants and their accomplices."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 25 the village of Andi, Botlikh District, was put under the CTO regime. According to the National Antiterrorist Centre (NAC), a militant was killed there; and an Andi villager said that a relative of the owner of the destroyed house was wounded. The CTO regime was cancelled in Andi on January 27.
