Permyakov pleads guilty of killing Avetisyan family members

Today, Armenia has started the next court hearing in the criminal case against Valery Permyakov, accused of killing seven members of the Avetisyan family.

On January 12, in Gyumri, six members of the Avetisyan family were assassinated. The only survivor of the attack – the six-month-old Sergey Avetisyan – was hospitalized in critical condition and underwent his treatment in Yerevan. On January 19, the baby's condition has deteriorated and he died. A Russian regular soldier Valery Permyakov is arrested as a suspect of committing the massacre.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the trial in the criminal case against soldier Valery Permyakov, accused of killing seven members of the Avetisyan family, is being held on the territory of the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri. On January 18, the victim party voiced the call to transfer the trial to the Shirak Regional Court. However, the request was dismissed.

During the today's court hearing, prosecutor Gevorg Gevorgyan has read out the indictment. Permyakov has pleaded guilty to all the charges filed against him.
